Gabrielle Reece's road to fame and fortune owes as much to her
athletic prowess as it does to her looks and stature. Gabrielle Reece
was a star volleyball player at Florida State University, and started
modeling a year into her college studies. With Gabrielle Reece's 6'3"
lean, muscular frame and unique beauty, Gabrielle Reece quickly became a
modeling sensation. With Gabrielle Reece's lucrative, high-profile
contract representing Nike, Gabby bridged the worlds of sports and
fashion.
In her first TV ad for Nike, Reece announced, "The Nike girl is me, just
a bit extreme." In addition to Gabrielle Reece's prowess in beach
volleyball, Gabrielle Reece is an all-around athlete who enjoys the
challenge of surfing, skateboarding, motocross, dirt biking,
wakeboarding, and sky diving, just to name a few. Gabrielle Reece's wit
and intelligence allowed her to contribute regular columns to Elle and
Women's Sports & Fitness, and report for MTV's The Extremists and USA
Sports' golf coverage. It's no wonder that Women's Sports & Fitness
named her one of the most influential women in sports.
